The Certification Process

Get certified as a Fiber Optic Technician/Installer by passing an approved onsite fiber optic course which must include as a minimum our hands on requirements

Pass our comprehensive online theory course with proof of hands on training or a minimum of one year of fiber optic experience

If you have had fiber optic experience in the military we will waive the hands on requirement

The initial cost of certification, good for two years, is $50.00 USD

Certification Renewal - Renew at RWM Online using most credit cards or Paypal

Failure to renew will result in your certification status as INACTIVE

If INACTIVE for 30 days or more all renewals are for one year

Any contact concerning your certification FOI will state your status

You may renew at any time within 3 years to change your status to ACTIVE

After 3 years of failure to renew may require you to pass the RWM Online fiber optic course ($400 USD) and show documented proof of fiber optic experience

ACES International certifications are no longer being supported. Please Contact Us to transfer your records to our database

Documentation of training is required and experience must be on company letterhead. Fiber Optic International will review all documentation to verify compliance
